Daily Sacrifice

On my list of pondering thoughts about the bible is this saying. "And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days." Dan 12:11-12

No thought can be had on what this means if it is to tie into all the other mysteries that I have covered so far without contradicting them, except for one. I have shown you where the tribulation is going on now and where at the end of it the followers will be raptured out before the mark of the beast comes in and then Satan will claim himself to be God. Well, it is my belief that Dan 12:11 is talking about that time frame. It will be when those who are alive and remain are taken, which tell us how long it will be until Jesus returns after that.

1290 days is just over 3 1/2 years. The abomination will be set up and ready to go into effect during this time where the last two witnesses will be doing their last deed for God trying to get people to understand that Satan is claiming to be God and that it is not God himself here on earth.

The daily sacrifice is not a physical sacrifice at all, it is the Christian faith. Consider this, "Give us this day our daily bread." Mat 6:11. The followers of Jesus were never meant to do anything other than live by a daily life or else this prayer has no meaning.

Then Paul went to say this also: "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service." Ro 12:1, "affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily." I Cor 15:31. Again, he is affirming that a daily life exists in the mind of a Christian.

Even Jesus said this when he was here. "Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me." Luke 9:23. "Then He said to them all, "I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize Me. But the Scriptures must be fulfilled." Mark 14:49

When you combine all this you find that the Christians and followers of Jesus are the daily sacrifice that Daniel was told about. It has nothing to do with any physical sacrifice going on anywhere.
